Character name: artzeCrucible

at the request of /u/ww_crimson & /u/whensmahvelFGC,

this is a showcase of a build I've been working on for about a week now. It utilizes(abuses?) the sextant 'Players Vaal Skills Do Not Apply Soul Gain Prevention' to have 100% uptime on between 2-5 BVs at any given time. I've decided in classic softcore fashion to lean into the volatility of this build, opting for overwhelming damage instead of a more balanced character. Because of this, the build plays more like a spell-slinger not too much unlike the skill Reap, keeping distance while spamming the freeze prolif/triple explosion BVs.

This build has almost zero defensive layers. There is a version of this build with near spell suppress cap, but I am not at the investment level to achieve that with similar DPS, AFAIK. There are multiple ways to continue upgrading DPS, but with this build it seems much more difficult getting any additional defenses. With this character I generally fall over whenever I don't pay attention for longer than a second.

Sextant FAQ: I use TFT to bulk purchase the sextant at around .75c per map on average. This is so cheap that I would recommend it for any BV build that isn't strained on sextants, or is doing any kind of alch/go strat.

Upgrades:

DPS - Rational Doctrine, optimized clusters (heraldry?) Explode/% double damage synth bow (currently 400+ div)

Survivability - Endurance charge generation cluster(sack some DPS) Explode bow would=new chest with spell suppress. Spell suppress flask. Wheel rework to pick up Suppression mastery/lucky suppress
