Spectral Throw has always been good for mapping, but lacked DPS against single target.

ST of Materialising solves this problem : the projectile does not hit when it flies outward, but when it returns, it materialises and deals a lot more DPS than the regular version.

The base damage is almost twice as high : 240% effectiveness, against 125% for normal ST.

And the Proj gain 30% reduced deceleration, meaning they hit more frequently on the return movement. And it's easier to circle around a boss meanwhile, concentrating a lot of proj on it for a shotgun effect.

So you have to wait till it returns to finally get some damage. And you may think it's really bad, which is what I thought at first.

But :

  1. The DPS is really satisfying during this "backstab" phase. If you position your proj properly, fat rare enemies can be destroyed while you're already targeting another pack.

  2. You can also throw normal ST in conjunction with ST of Mater., doubling the number of projectiles flying.
