Hi,

Viper Strike of the Mamba recently became the new hot stuff thanks to some hot stuff, and due to Trickster fatigue, I've decided to give it a shot as a Pathfinder. This post serves as a rather expensive showcase along with some loose thoughts on how I’ve built the character. I have more currency than sense so there are definitely some optimizations to be made and mistakes to rectify.

The video of questionable quality with equally questionable level of skill shows:

• T17 Fortress

• 8-mod Mesa

• All Ubers (start at 10:00 mark)

• Running into all kinds of balls and slams coz bad but doesn’t matter (mostly) because Pathfinder

Defences:

• 90% all max res, capped Chaos res

• 100% suppress

• Stun immunity

• 57% phys taken as elemental

• Permanent Progenesis along with Petrified Blood

• 3k+ / 5k+ life regen depending on Divine/Eternal life flask

• Unafffected by curses

• ~30% evade chance

• CB immune, unaffected by bleeding

• Poison solved through pantheon (Arakaali + Shakari) or life flask suffix

Offence:

• Close to DoT cap on non-uber content with easy ways to actually hit the cap

• Uber DPS is around 10-12 million

• 100% crit chance without Ambush

• 8 sec Onslaught on kill

Mapping is pretty much 1-button, beefier mobs get Ambush + Withering Step treatment. Despair and Mark for bigger boys.

Quicksilver flask is close to but not 100% uptime when idling, I might grab the flask cluster near Perfect Agony but I’d rather get life. Could replace quicksilver with Jade/Granite/whatever for 100% uptime but that’s some psycho shit.

Hit crit cap with Second Sight keystone from timeless jewel, they are rather pricey with relevant mods. If not the jewel then Ungil’s, more investment into crit, regular Ambush use?

Prefer more damage per stab than faster poison damage which is why I go with Unbound Ailments and not Swift Affliction, no faster ailments on Watcher’s, etc.

No Covenant because there is enough damage in the build. Actually just need levels for life passives, would like to be 4k+.
