






















I've been working on this build since the beginning. I started with CptLance's Storm Brand build (from WEEK 1 lol) and eventually swapped to CoC because brands were boring me I guess.
Anyway, when I was making the build, ALL the jewels needed to take ivory tower builds to the next level were absurdly expensive, and they still are.
I sniped my talisman for like 35ish divs early in the league. It's probably worth over 100 divs now, sadly.
PROS

Steamrolls all content (except Heist & Sanctum, since those activities require optimized builds suited for them)

Delve up to 1k easily

Fully juiced 10k wisps + beyond + delirium = easy mode

7 reward wave 30 simulacrums with 0 deaths
-
Melts Ubers, inflicting up to 42% shock effect (tested)

Makes use of 2 spells for fun and variety (but also because it does more damage that way)

Capitalizes on use of spectres and animated guardian for juicy auras + buffs. The following perfect versions of specrtres are used: Spirit of Fortune, Forest Warrior, Warlord.

0 mana issues because I don't use mana; no sustain problems whatsoever

CONS

Expensive rings/amulet/belt/jewels

Uber Sirus won't kill you but his storms/ground degen will if your Coruscating Elixir is empty (SIMPLE FIX: swap to Balbala timeless jewel and use 3 flasks instead)

Same issue with Maven; again the fix is simple.

Certain possessed affixes can remove your Coruscating flask and make you susceptible to getting 1 shotted by chaos damage (probably like 0.1% chance of that happening unless you map with ghosts)

Really, really LOW FPS if you're using HH and get soul eater buff + extra projectiles.

Cannot do no-regen maps and, frankly, has a high aversion to less recovery and less CD maps (has to swap to no reflect damage taken charm for reflect maps)

Not really a leveling/early league build, tbh.

Must invest into minion defenses somewhat for them to stay alive

Defenses are somewhat weak and relies on enormous leech to survive; if you're not hitting, you're dead.

Must be at point blank range for DPS on tanky targets (which is really no different than the cyclone CoC builds), so kind of not really a con, but I wanted to mention that.
I took a very creative approach to building this ivory tower blood magic CoC inquisitor. I don't have a lot of the flashy jewel sockets many other players use, but I feel like I have the budget to afford them now. I simply don't really know how to reorganize my tree and what jewels would be optimal.
The PoB DPS is somewhat off. I tried to keep it pretty conservative. For example, Blazing Salvo is only being counted as 1 instead of 2 or more (nimis return projectiles).
The build works best when firing into large packs of mobs or standing directly on top of a target for shotgunning.
I'm not a CoC expert at all. This is the first league I've ever played a CoC build. I honestly don't even know how blood magic is working for 2 spells + rathpith triggers, but it WORKS.
