That fact that ball lightning hits every 150ms has always made me think it would be an interesting applicator for poison, but given lightning damage didn't really have any good way to do that I forgot about it.... Until I saw the new Voltaic Rift.

I was just fooling around in POB and with literally no gear whatsoever (5 empty gear slots right now with no cluster or jewels/flasks) it's looking very easy to break 1M dps with the rift and a few historically reasonably priced uniques. Also, given you're going to that side of the tree anyway I think getting suppress capped is going to be pretty easy to achieve as a defensive layer.

Just wondering if anyone wants to play with it and see where they get. I know this is probably gonna just end up as a meme build but I've wanted to try it for a while so at some point this league I think I'll put it together.
