SSS111 showcased viper strike on champion in HC Sanctum league which inspired me to recreate a version in 3.23 AHC using power creep available this trade league in the form of:

• Charms

• Void Fangs

• Covenant

• Awakened gems (trade league)

• Balance of Terror (wither)

• Flame/Flesh

I'm extremely happy with the result and would love to see more people experience this build. Great single target damage (pinnacle >50million dps, over DOT cap) with plague bearer and single attacks easily clearing map packs. The build excels on bosses, essence, harvest and made me hundreds of divines this league.

Poison duration charms in 3.23 Affliction league are likely the strongest buff to poison builds in the history of Path of Exile. Combining Viper Strike, with a base duration of 4 seconds, duration scaling, and combining with Champion, we have an extremely strong and fun melee build.

The build is currently greater than 50million poison dps with Covenant equipped, significantly over the DOT cap of 35.8mil allowing for faster ailment / poison scaling if desired.

For uber bosses, elemental mitigation is the priority and I have two uber showcases using Loreweave and Eternal Damnation to keep a degree of safety at the cost of some damage.

Featured in the youtube showcase are Uber eater, Uber shaper and various other showcases all on HC.
