I planned this build since the start of the league to abuse one of the most overpowered mechanics in the game right now, Nightblade. I crafted my own ring for this (Dragon Whorl) and eventually mirrored it to play this build.

Build mechanics are as follows; with Badge, more power charges = increased elusive effect = increased Nightblade scaling. Nightblade boosts crit multi to over 1000%, so all that's needed is increased damage and flat damage. Increased damage is obtained via an Elegant Hubris that provides 4x10% damage per power charge for a total of 520% damage, and flat damage is obtained via Ice Bite.

There are a lot of high value/necessary support gems that I can't fit into a 6L (Multistrike, WED, Nightblade, pen gem, Inspiration, Ice Bite, PCOC), the best option for damage (SC player lol) was to use the 9L claw and Squire. With LS, Wrath and 2 abyss jewels, I have enough lightning damage to use Trinity. I thought it would be a waste to not get shock somewhere on this build (since brittle isn't needed to cap crit and by extension no alternate ailments), so I specifically built for a sizeable lightning hit that currently shocks Uber Sirus for 32%.

I explored other skill options (believe me, I didn't want to play LS again), but none are as low maintenance gem socket-wise (Flicker needs Melee Splash, Molten Strike needs Slower Proj) and at the same time have the high damage effectiveness that LS does. Point Blank on chest since I don't path downwards to Ranger.

Defense is just made up for via auras and Mageblood. It's definitely not tanky, but I don't really die on bosses as I oneshot them, and I have Inspired Learning for maps. I don't like using Blessing without increased duration, so I spec'd for MRE on the tree to run my auras on mana. Elusive also gives 65-68% avoid chance at all times which in itself is a very big defensive layer, but ultimately I still wouldn't want to chance oneshots.
