This build is a dragon I've been chasing since failing to get Jungroan's doublecoc witch working because I was poor and skimped on all the important bits.
This is it running like a headless chicken away from an all at once, ~150% quant Hidden.
It's hard to pob the damage, but it's somewhere past 15m altogether I think.
Build
Fundamentally, this build uses a CWC forbidden rite to proc a CWDT forbidden rite, which then procs CWDT Desecrate/Unearth and a CWDT Volatile Dead. FR is just here to self harm.
It's fully recoup based, rather than ward (atm) with about ~90% raw life recoup, a 38% mom and petrified blood.
If a hit doesn't onetap, it's almost not noticed (ES recovery is leech based, and can get overwhelmed, as you can see in the linked video).
A side effect of this is that it has a loooooooooot of mana regen, so we can turn CWDT into a really good damage support by leveraging it's 250% cost multiplier with Archmage.
With a squire, we can push this even further but before I had this I was using a spell damage/spell crit 7 link elder staff, which was ~66%
of the damage.
Stygian VD for performance of course. I tried void, but the constant summoning turns the whole screen into a blurry mess.
Build improvements
If you look at the POB, you'll note that I only have 11 VD, as I haven't pathed to undertaker yet: with some optimisation I think I can pick this up for another ~20% damage boost.
In addition, if I can pick up extra projectiles for unearth, this would also be great, I'm just incredibly socket limited.
I've gone with 40% damage, as VD consuming an extra projectile is actually enough to start hitting the 60 VD limit (extra movement speed is a relic of this, which should probably be swapped for 21/20 standard), as well as requiring GVolley + GMP on the unearth, which I don't have sockets for.
Ward is also probably the best way to go. This build suffers a lot in the max hit department, as it has the potential to have just inflicted a 3.6k chaos hit onto itself at any point.
Even 1k ward with olroths is reachable, and would halve the self damage.
It also suffers a lot against big elemental hits, Aul in particular gets very scary with any phys as ele.
TLDR: I need a mageblood lul - even a 3 flask corrupted one.
#Nine Lives?
I tried, but witch was just way worse for the build than inquis's sustain and crit scaling. I was messing around with a poision BFBB, but ended up selling the jewel so I could afford a squire. I was so excited for it as well.
#Archnemisis
Rejuvinator: Hurts, but won't kill. It pushes the recoup barely negative, so in isolation the build survives the debuff duration, but it can cause the build to get overwhelmed.
Manasiphoner: Scary. Actually stops mana recovery as well as draining it, so even though the build recoups 5000 + mana per second, it just turns everything off. Including the self harm, so it isn't instant death in isolation, but again can contribute to overwhelming.
Stormstrider: Terrible. Why do they hit so hard, why are there so many of them, I'm scared.
Temporal bubble: Annoying, and makes anything else bad waaaaay worse.
