So yeah, Winter Orb did get buffed in Path of Exile 3.26, and I’ll admit — it’s smooth from the start.
You don’t need super crazy gear to clear Acts...
But once you hit maps, reality sets in. The damage isn’t consistent, the playstyle gets clunky, and scaling it to endgame still requires expensive investments.
It’s playable, yes for clearing — but honestly? Don’t play it. Winter Orb is still a budget sucking trap.
