Normally the Gladiator is the obvious choice for a bleed build, however, Chieftain does come with some benefits. It is relatively easy to get 90/90/90/75 resistances due to Valako, Storm's Embrace. Furthermore, you get ignite immunity, a large chance-based area clear and easy to keep up Endurance Charges.

The main issue is the single-target damage but even Tier 16 bosses went down relatively quickly. Unfortunately, going into The Searing Exarch blind spelled his ultimate doom at level 93. Apparently block does not work against the molten boulders and with a teleportation-based movement skill it would likely have been much easier. Leap Slamming or Shield Charging through the boulders still appear to damage you.
