Was talking to someone in the poe subreddit about Lightning Warp today, and tinkering around with a LW build gave me ideas for another build. Introducing, the CWDT 50% MoM Hierophant. We use Tempest Shield and get a ton of block via Glancing Blows and some good block nodes. Sports around 1.2k mana regen. Normally CWDT would be pretty worthless on a block build, but thanks to Glancing Blows, we take half the damage we block, meaning we can still reliably trigger our spells.
On that note, the spells we trigger. Conductivity and Arcane Cloak are of course big damage boosts, we can get really meaty hits from Penance Brand and Wave of Conviction (which also gives the exposure), and finally Ball Lightning as our Elemental Overload trigger (and boy do we get some big AoE on this sucker, a massive radius of 37 units! What a unit!)
Thoughts, ideas, any obvious problems I may have overlooked with the build before I start the character? If I can get my hands on one, something I'd love to get is of course a cluster jewel with Supercharge for my non-crits lightning damage to be lucky, but that is a bit of a pricey node so that'll be an end-game min-max thing I do.
