I wanted to make a build using my favorite unique voidforge along with vengeant cascade abuse with splitting steel . Luckily u/thedeathbeam was able to kickstart the journey with his idea of shroud of the lightless abyss stacking.

Disclaimer: Call of steel feels really bad to use, it almost necessitates the use of the impale mastery (40% increased use speed for general use).

I probably wouldn't recommend replicating this build unless you know what you're getting into. If you just want to just play splitting steel a physical version with champion or deadeye (higher investment) is probably the way to go. It has a cheaper and has more natural playstyle with call of steel.

I do a very simple swap to lightning strike/frost blades for mapping/simulacrum/all other content and it feels amazing. Deathless Sim 30s with both, average 6 rewards every wave

Still has more than enough DPS for uber bosses (200-300 million DPS).

I can put out more showcases,explanations, and lightning strike gameplay/setup if there's enough interest.

Crafting:

Helmet:

1. Buy fractured suppress helm

2. Slam with hollow+aberrant fossils to hit T1 chaos

3. Slap on dominant searing exarch mod over eater

4. Eldritch chaos orb until T1 life and open prefix

5. Finish by crafting phys damage taken as ele

Boots:

1. Buy fractured suppress boots

2. Slam with hollow+aberrant fossils to hit T1 chaos

3. Slap on dominant searing exarch mod over eater

4. Eldritch chaos orb until T1 life and open prefix

5. Finish by crafting movement speed

You really have flexibility here, you can choose whatever suffix you want to target with fossil crafting, the only important thing is you need hollow fossils

Abyss Jewels: it really depends on which fractured base you start with

1. Buy ilvl 85 fractured life, multi, phys attack murderous abyss jewel

2. It's pretty much always going to be some combination of jagged fossils and what other mods you want. I suggest going to craftofexile, selecting ilvl85 murderous eye jewel and then see what gives you the cheapest option to get the mods you want

Edit 2: For people who aren't aware uber bosses have a 80-90% damage reduction at the start of a fight that rapidly decays on top of the 70% for all uber bosses
