Saffron Flame + Immortal Flesh is a decent defensive combo. I'm 55% certain with capped chaos res + Born in Chaos + Timeless Jewel that you can tank everything Sirus.

Also I'm not sure if it's the right thing or not to rely on flasks to cap res.
