






















I'm currently running a Vaal Flicker Strike character (PoB here, ~6M DPS with no flasks, Berserk/Vaal totem unchecked), and I had an epiphany...
Since Vaal Flicker Strike doesn't do damage until all 25 strikes have completed (and the damage from all strikes hit at once), can this work around the 1 second cooldown for Hydrosphere given you're running Tribal Fury melee splash? I would assume the final MEGA hit from VFS would splash onto the Hydrosphere, which would then pump out the same damage again.
Obviously, this doesn't work well against mobile bosses since you have to hope they stay within range of your hydrosphere during the entire VFS channel, but I could see this having its uses against some pinnacle bosses. A total of 3 players on PoE.ninja use this combo, so it seems relatively uncharted.
