

















Short update for the build that I have been working on. Melee has been obtusely difficult to play. I told myself a few leagues ago that I would not league start melee as it is rather difficult to engage many of the monster in close range combat.
I was super excited about the buffs and broke my own rule... Damage is more accessible but defense against engaging these monsters is difficult without dedicating a significant amount of your tree to tankiness (that has been my experience). The more tank the less damage, the longer the enemy is alive the more likely you are to die.
I would not recommend league starting melee to anybody in all honesty. It is frustrating.
I have finally managed to clear my first t16 map and I beat an elder boss but I had to scour the map to white.
There is a whole chunk of info under theory crafting if you are curious what this looks like long term but it is incomplete. I am working on balancing out the tank vs the dps and am not sure where exactly I want that to fall.
