This setup is great for clearing: harvest, abyss, ritual, delve, etc. Not good for single dmg content, like essence.

4 million dps with 0 buff, 13 million dps with 100 buff.

Soulthirst is a great starter unique belt.

It grants 70 life and 15 all res, which is only 40 res lower than the normal belt.

If you can kill 100 mobs in 15s, you can get 0-500 attack speed during that time. To me, it's way more valuable than 40 res.
