Hi, here's a build showcase of my take on the new Retaliation skills with Gladiator.

Brief description of the build, concept and choice of gears.

I tried to make the build as tanky as possible, otherwise I can't counter attack if I'm dead.

Starting with the weakness of this build architype, degen and one shot are the things that killed this build. To offset the degen, can either go with Slayer version for overleech or stack a decent amount of life regen. To avoid getting one shot, just raise the max hit.

Doryani's Prototype has a drawback, but can be solved by taking all the fire and lightning damage as cold and chaos with the Purity of Ice sublime vision and watcher's eye mod, then pair it with Divine Flesh keystone.

For the offense, is similar to the original build concept by stacking a bunch of flat light damage on gears since I can't use other auras like Wrath or Smite because of Sublime Vision jewel.

Thunderfist gloves is best in slot (I think) for 2nd main skill to alternate the chance of not putting retaliation skills into cooldown.

Since I'm playing non-crit, Voice of the Storm amulet is used to fully utilize the DPS of Volatility support and offset the nature of lightning damage that has huge disparity in numbers.

Paradoxica then doubles all the damage, easiest choice of weapon.

Last but not least, is bringing down the lightning resist to -200%. Thanks to the return of reflecting mist, I just bought a cheap mirrored ring for 5-6div from trade instead of crafting it myself. Also Immortal Flesh belt that also gives -25% resist with high life and life regen roll that are much cheaper than the -15% resist.
